Going Home

Right now we are in the car on our way home from our very fun Thanksgiving vacation. We were able to visit Barilyn and her family for a week. Maggie had such a great time playing with her cousins. We are going to be very lonely in Texas! Zoe finally kind of warmed up to everyone (except Shelly :( !) before we left. Barilyn would take her and convince her that she was a big girl and she could handle it. "IT" was being away from mom. She is such a mommies girl that she just can't seem to deal with life if I'm not in sight.

Barilyn was glad that Maggie and Chloe got along better this time than when we visited last. Our last trip was when Glenn ended up in the hospital and Barilyn came and took Maggie home with her while I stayed at the hospital. Apparently there were a few conflicts and power struggles between the two. I'm very sorry Barilyn, but very grateful for your help!

We were glad to be able to see Shelly for a few days also. Thanks for all our "treats" from Italy!
Thank you Petersen's for our early Christmas blankets. They came in handy on our trip home.

We are all so very grateful for all we have. Our family and friends being at the top of our list.

Halloween 2007

Our little munchkins looked so cute as Mary and her little lamb. Our original idea was Little Bo-Peep with her sheep, but we couldn't find a shepherds crook. At our ward Trunk-or-Treat everyone that talked to Maggie would guess that she was Bo-Peep and she would correct them and say she was Mary and then point to Zoe and tell that she was her lamb. After a while of having to correct people she said, "Mom, Little Bo-Peep lost her sheep, but everywhere that Mary went her lamb followed!" I told her she was absolutely correct and from then on we made sure everyone knew that she was Mary! Of course Zoe did care about what was going on, she was just happy to be outside.
