What Does Trouble Look Like...

After ripping everything out of the drawers and pulling books off the shelf Mr. Naughtyness climbed into the drawer. He was pretty proud of himself!

New Classes, New Teachers

Maggie's new teacher is Sister Nancy Bowns. I haven't had the chance to get to know her very well, but hopefully we can get to know her this year while Maggie is in her class.This year Zoe graduated from Nursery to Sunbeams! She was so excited to FINALLY be in Sunbeams. She got an amazing teacher named Sister Nicole Hall. She happens to be my Visiting Teaching companion so I know from personal experience that she's amazing. Zoe has so much fun in her class. The nursery leaders really miss her. They are always telling me that she was the best singer and now their singing time isn't nearly as fun.Wyatt is still too young to go to Nursery so he hangs out with me. Well today he was quite literally "hanging out" with Glenn. The Circus...I mean Sundays are fun!! (just ask the people that sit behind us!)

Activity Days Catch Up

Our first Activity Day of 2011 was all about journals. Sister Hofmann taught the girls the importance of keeping a journal and then they got to create their own journals.

I bought each one of them a composition book that they got to cover with scrapbook paper and stickers. Each girl worked really hard on their creations and they turned out great.
I bought a few extra books and Zoe was so happy I did. She loves Activity Days and this was no exception. She was in heaven!


For our next meeting we talked about talents and how to recognize them and develop them. For our activity we tied a baby quilt for Lindsey's baby shower. Everyone had such a good time.

Still Lazy

So after a month I still have not posted anything. What has happened to my blogging obsession? I have even slacked on taking pictures. I didn't take very many during our Christmas vacation. Hardly any for Wyatt's birthday. What is going on with me?

Once Again

I suppose I shouldn't take time to use the bathroom anymore. Everytime I do I find trouble waiting for me when I return. Zoe helped herself to the leftover pizza and invited Wyatt to her naughty party...

Let's just ignore the lovely and safe condition of the kitchen. Towels pulled off onto the floor, empty box from bottled water and the best of all would be the dangling cord from the stove top. That would be attached to a very heavy iron that could do some serious damage to a little head or other tiny body parts.
