I was watching "Good Things Utah" a couple of weeks ago and saw a segment with
Theresa Collins. She was sharing her gratitude tree idea with the ladies on the show. I thought it was such a great idea and since she was so nice to put free downloads on her blog I decided to go ahead and give it a try.
A few days after seeing this show I was sitting in primary listening to our second counselor challenge the kids to write down something they were grateful for everyday and then thank Heavenly Father for it that night.
I decided to combine both these ideas and begin our gratitude tree. I hope that we will remember to do this every year and see how our kids grow and change over the years. Hopefully becoming more grateful with each year.
Thanks to Mom and Dad for letting me "borrow" some branches from their apricot tree!!
