Maggie's Bored!

Maggie has been having a difficult time adjusting to the lonely life of summer vacation. She doesn't have friends in our complex that are home during the day and Zoe is just young enough that she mostly irritates Maggie. They have had some really good days where they play nicely together, but fights and screaming are not too far behind the laughs and chuckles.

When Zoe goes down for her nap Maggie gets even more sad and lonely. She has now gotten to the point that as I'm walking out of the room from laying Zoe down she is right there at the door asking if she can have a Popsicle. Clever! Wait until Zoe is out and can't have one. More for her!

Today Maggie decided that she was going to build a house out of our foam mats. When she was done she told me she had made a house for Zoe and was just waiting for her to wake up. So cute. She really does love Zoe and misses her when she's not around. Even after all the fighting and crying and yelling at each other there are the occasional moments when I get to see the true love that only sisters have for each other.

Once Zoe woke up she was immediately taken to see her house. She loved it. She destroyed it. They both laughed and had a good time. Those moments make it all worth it.

Maggie took my camera out of my purse and got some pictures of Zoe in her house...

She needs a little practice with the camera, but she had a great time. I heard her say a couple of times "that was a good one!"

I love seeing their creativity come to life. Maggie's gets even better the more bored she gets!
