I Will Now Claim My Title

as Worst Mother EVER!!

I kept Maggie home from school today because she has been congested and coughing and sounds horrible.

I have an appointment for both girls with the pediatrician this afternoon.

Zoe did something worthy of a time out a little while ago.

I put her in time out.

And then I forgot I put her in time out.

SEVERAL minutes later I was thinking how quite Zoe was being considering Maggie was out here on the couch and Zoe was in the bedroom by herself.

Then the light bulb went off.

Out loud I asked myself "is Zoe still in time out?"

Maggie answered: "yes"

I went to let her out and this is what I found...

Not only did I leave her in there too long, in order for her to get to the time out seat she had to climb over a mountain of dirty clothes to get there.

That's right folks...
