Our plans for Sunday changed a bit from our original plan. We were going to attend church meetings with Mom and Dad, have lunch with them and then head to West Point to hang out with some friends for a few hours. Glenn got a call saying that his Sister-in-law had been taken to the Ogden hospital for emergency heart surgery. Then I got a call from my cousin, Tanaya, letting me know that her Dad was told that he probably only had a couple more weeks before the cancer he has been battling would take his life.
We decided to forgo church so we could get packed up and head up to Layton to visit Uncle Murr and then head over to Ogden to visit Bob & Shirley and Lisha.
The kids really enjoy being at Uncle Murr and Aunt Cheryl's house. They have fun things to play with and new things to get into. It was nice to see Uncle Murr and get to visit for a few minutes. We love you Uncle Murr and hope you don't have to be in pain these last few days.

Since Shirley was still in the ICU the kids were not allowed to visit with her and we were only allowed to see her for 10 minutes. We left the kids with Aunt Lisha while we went to the ICU. We were worried that Wyatt would have a hard time and be a problem for Lisha. We were oh so wrong. Aunt Lisha just put him a sleeper hold and got to hold him the whole time.

I was thinking that Aunt Shirley would not be too happy with me if I took pictures of her so I fought the urge and left the camera in the lobby. She seemed to be doing pretty well considering all the crap she went through. Just a couple days later and she was out of the ICU and on her way home. We hope you are able to relax and recover quickly Aunt Shirley!
So that is the sum of our fun, exciting and emotionally intense weekend!
There was some pretty intense activity between the visit with Uncle Murr and the trip to the hospital, but I need to clear it with Glenn before I share that story. We are all well and no animals were harmed in that adventure!
