Tonight the school had their annual Pumpkin Night. Every family gets a pumpkin and can carve it while at the event. They also have food and treats. It sounded like it would be a fun night, but during my morning chat with Lindsey she informed me that last year it was total
mayhem. That is not very appealing to me. We decided that instead of facing hoards of people in a tight area that we would just have our own family pumpkin night at home. Much more pleasant!
We all decided that pizza would be the perfect pumpkin night meal. We ate on ghost plates and drank out of ghost cups. Very spooky!

Don't blame me for the goofy Glenn pictures. He posed for them.
I don't think we got enough treats :)!
After our pizza we set up the pumpkin table. Instead of the yucky mess of carving we decided to color them. The girls were actually excited about it. They had lots of fun. Zoe kept saying "it's getting spooky!"

Here are the finished pumpkins.
Maggie labeled all the parts on hers so everyone would know what she drew.
Zoe's just has a lot of lines.
Very spooky indeed!

I'm all about avoiding mayhem. Good choice!
Plus, you can eat like Glenn and no one will make fun of you. LOL
